Directions
Subway
Take either any IRT (2,3,4 or 5) to Atlantic Avenue, or take the B or D (Sixth Avenue lines) or the N or Q (Broadway lines) to the first stop after you go over the bridge, the first stop in Brooklyn.
(If you are on the "D" or "N" that stop will be Pacific Street. If you are on the "B" or "Q" that stop will be DeKalb Avenue.)
Change to the "M" or the "R" local train, right across the platform, and take that train to Union Street. (It's one stop from Atlantic/Pacific, two stops from DeKalb.)
When you get out you will be between Union and President Streets. Walk toward President. The streets are Union, President, Carroll, Garfield. Make a left on Garfield, and walk up two blocks - my office is just before 6th Avenue at 137 Garfield Place. Ring the bottom bell & come to the 1st Floor.
Driving From Manhattan:
From the Manhattan Bridge go straight onto Flatbush Avenue. Continue for approximately 12 long blocks till you reach Sixth Avenue. Make a right on 6th Avenue, and drive for another approximately 12 (short) blocks, till you reach Garfield Place. (If you get to the numbered streets (1st, 2nd) you've gone too far. My office is on the corner of Garfield & 6th Avenue - 137 Garfield Place. Ring the bottom bell & come to the 1st floor.
Driving From Staten Island:
On the Verrazano Bridge, stay in the right lane, and bear right onto the BQE (not the Belt Parkway). Take the BQE to 38th Street. After the exit ramp, at the light, make a left turn onto 4th Avenue. Take 4th Avenue to make a right on 1st Street. (Begin to search for parking - it's tough here.) Go up 2 blocks to 6th Avenue, and make a right - the next corner is where my office is located, on the corner of Garfield & 6th Avenue - 137 Garfield Place. Ring the bottom bell & come to the 1st floor.
